Danger Prone Daphne by judyeve Danger Prone Daphne by judyeve
Well this is my take of how Daphne Blake of Scooby Doo would look like. This occurred after babysitting my 1 year old brother who is crazy about Scooby Doo (the 1970s cartoon, not the modern cartoon which I distinctly dislike).

Materials used: prismacolor pencils, paper stump, gray artagain paper, stock image.

Stock: :iconfaestock: and link to precise image used: [link]

Time: 10 hours

**I smoothed out the image slightly with an editing tool, too remove some background "noise" Improvement was only slight.

Great job! Very cool texture used. I just finished a piece on "Danger-Prone" Daphne herself. Check it out here: [link]

Wonderful job of taking a cartoon and making it into a realistic vision. The coors really pop out, especially on that paper.

Dressed like Sarah Michelle Gellar, but looks more like Kirsten Dunst.

That's what my sis said, but I swear I did not use either Kirsten or Sarah's images. I used a stock image. :D

Oh, it definitely looks original! I was just going on general impressions. I'm sure my wife will have on Spiderman 2 or something and I'd say "Wow, how did I ever think that."

More cool paper :3, I like the white highlights in the hair using pure white like that is hard to do and not overuse it. Her nose looks a little mushed though kinda like it was shoved to the side slightly but overall it's great :]

Thanks for the comments! It was hard getting the highlights, I usually use the paper (especially when I use bristol paper) to help me do that. But it wasn't going to work in this case...red hair with gray highlights? I had to use white and color the hair during daylight to aid me.

I can see what you mean about the nose. :D Darn thing wouldn't behave.

Don't worry about it. You and I are in the same boat. I will probably have to buy a photoshop program or something to help fix what the scanner ruins.
