This is in tribute to Temple of the Dog fanfiction. It is Sango depicted as the ancient Egyptian goddess Isis. It took quite a while to come up with this version. I had to draw it about three time before I was satisfied enough to begin the long process of coloring it in Prismacolor pencils. The hardest part was drawing Sango's face which I still am not completely satisfied with but I guess it is okay for now. I think the hard part came from drawing an anime face in place of the real life face provided by the stock artist.

I intended to submit this back in March but grew too busy trying to survive my spring semester at OLLU. The death of my great-grandfather in June and other obligations still further delayed the completion of this piece. Sum it up to say that it took about four months on and off to complete it.

This pic was inspired not only by Urd-chan's Temple of the Dog but also from the lovely stock provided by Her stock photo series on the goddess Isis were just to die for.
